  4. b.) Conversion disorder. This is a psychiatric diagnosis that occurs when someone unintentionally expressess an underlying psychological conflict or need. It usually manifests as a physical or neurological alteration or loss of function, but without any underlying pathology. It is sometimes mistaken for malingering, however in this condition symptoms are not intentionally produced.

  8. conversion disorder includes psych stressor and neurological complaint (change in vision) with no evidence of medical illness.
